Itineraries
Kilimanjaro - Northern
Safari Adventure
Day 1 - Arrive at the Kilimanjaro
International Airport and transfer to the Kilimanjaro Crane
Hotel for overnight.
Day 2 - (7km 4-5 hrs approx
700m ascent), Marangu Gate to Mandara
Hut.
Begin the climb at Marangu gate. The path takes you through
the forest. Overnight at Mandara hut (2700m).
Day 3 - (11km 5-7 hrs, 1000m
ascent) Mandara Hut to Horombo hut.
On this day, you will get your first clear views of the peaks
above and the plains below with the beautiful lobelias coming
into view. Overnight at the Horombo Hut (3700m). Signs of altitude
are first felt here.
Day 4 - Horombo
Hut.
Spend the extra day at the Horombo Hut for acclimatization.
Day 5 - (10km 5-7 hrs, 1000m
ascent). Horombo hut to Kibo hut.
This route takes you to the foot of the Kibo peak where the
hut is situated.
Day 6 - (7-81/2 hrs, 1200m
ascent, plus 14km, 41/2-7hrs, 2200m descent). Kibo Hut to Uhuru
Peak; and descent to Horombo Hut.
This day may be the most strenuous of the trek and can involve
up to 6hrs of walking. The climb starts very early in the morning
for a chance to see the sunrise from the Gilman's point. For
the descent, you retrace the traces up to Horombo hut, for overnight.
Day 7 - (18km 5-7 hrs, 1900m
descent). Horombo Hut to Marangu. 
On this last day retrace the route back to Marangu gate, where
there will be a vehicle waiting to transfer you to Kilimanjaro
Crane Hotel for a well deserved rest. Overnight Kilimanjaro
Crane Hotel.
Day 8 - Moshi - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro conservation area. With
picnic Lunch, Afternoon Game drive in the Crater floor, Lunch
will be in one of the picnic site in the crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater, at 2,286m.above sea level, is the largest
unbroken caldera in the world. Surrounded by very steep walls
rising 610metres from the crater floor, this natural amphitheatre
covers an area of about 260sq km that is 100sq miles-and is
home to up to 30,000animals, almost half of them zebra and wildebeest.

Day 9 - Ngorongoro - Serengeti
After breakfast depart for Serengeti stopping on the way at
the Oldupai gorge, the archeological site made famous by Dr. Louis and Mary Leaky. Located within the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area. It was here that Dr Louis Leakey discovered
the remains of Homo habilis or “Handy man” regarded
as mankind’s first step on the ladder of human evolution.
But many more fossils have been discovered here including those
of prehistoric elephants, giant horned sheep and operate lecture
tours of the sites. Lunch will be at Naabi Hill Gate. Later
proceed to the lodge with game drive enroot in the most famous
of all the sanctuaries and one of the last great strongholds
of wildlife in the world. Dinner and overnight at the Sopa Lodge.
Day 10 – Serengeti
Full day game drive at Serengeti National Park. Afternoon back
to the Lodge for Lunch. Late afternoon start a sunset Game drive,
evening drive back to the Lodge.
Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge.
Day 11 - Serengeti
Balloon Safari. 
5:00 am start to drive to central Serengeti, and transfer you
to Serengeti balloon safari launch site near Maasai Kopjes.
Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch
the inflation of your hot air balloon. At dawn you star a lifetime
experience take off Serengeti balloon safari, rising as the
sun rises and float in whichever direction the winds of the
morning take you. Your pilot can precisely control the altitude
of your balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes
lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic
opportunities of the wildlife below at Serengeti plains. The
flight is for about one hour depending on conditions, on landing
you celebrate in the traditional manner with champagne (well,
an excellent sparkling wine), before sitting down to a full
English breakfast prepared and served in the bush in "Out
of Africa" style with bone china, linen table cloths, King's
silver etc.
After breakfast you receive your Serengeti Balloon Safari certificate
and drive to Lake Manyara National Park with game drive eroute.
Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 12 - Lake
Manyara - Arusha- KIA. After breakfast, depart for Lk.
Manyara National Park with picnic Lunch. Spend
full day in the park, picnic lunch at the picnic site.Two famous
spectacles in Lake Manyara National Park are the tree-climbing
lions, which spend most of the day spread out along the branches
of Acacia trees six to seven meters above the ground, Further
along, the forest opens up into woodlands, grassland, swamps
and beyond the soda lake itself, covering 390 sq. km and sanctuary
to over 400 species of bird. The park is particularly noted
for its huge herds of buffalo and elephant. Late afternoon proceed
to Arusha before transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport
to catch your flight back home. END OF

2 Days / 1 Night –
Mikumi National Park
Day 1. Dar es Salaam - Mikumi 
After breakfast, depart Mikumi National Park Lunch. Afternoon
game drive or at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Camp / Lodge.
Day 2 . Mikumi – Dar es Salaam
Early morning Game drive followed by breakfast. After a short
rest, proceed with Game viewing. Lunch. Departure to Dar es
Salaam.

Days / 2 Night – Mikumi National Park
Day 1 - Early morning drive from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi
National Park. Afternoon Game drive in the Park with lunch boxes.
Dinner and overnight at Camp/ Lodge.
Day 2 - After breakfast full day game drive with picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight at Camp/ Lodge.
Day 3 - After breakfast visit Snake Park at Genesis, Continue
to Dar via Morogoro.
5 Days / 4 Nights - Mikumi
/ Ruaha National Park
Day 1 - Early morning Depart from Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National
Park. Lunch, afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Camp
or Lodge.
Day 2 - After breakfast, drive to Ruaha National Park with picnic
Lunch. Arrive late, afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lodge
or Camp.
Day 3 - Full day game drive in Ruaha National Park with full
board Accommodation at Lodge or Camp.
Day 4 - Morning game drive, lunch. Depart to Iringa for Dinner,
and overnight at Hotel or Lodge.
Day 5 - After breakfast drive to Dar es Salaam with picnic lunch
via Mikumi and Morogoro Arriving late in the evening.
7 Days / 6 Nights - Mikumi - Ruaha
National Park and Selous game reserve
Day 1 - Early morning drive from Dar es salaam to Mikumi
National Park for lunch afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight
at Camp or Lodge.
Day 2 - After breakfast drive to Ruaha National Park with picnic
lunch arrive late in the Evening. Dinner and overnight at Camp
or Lodge.
Day 3 - Full day game driving at Ruaha National Park. Lunch,
Dinner and accommodation at Camp or Lodge.
Day 4 - After breakfast depart for Morogoro with packed lunch
arriving late in the Afternoon. Dinner and Accommodation at
Hotel or Lodge
Day 5 - After breakfast depart for Selous Game Reserve with
picnic lunch, arriving late in the Afternoon. Dinner and overnight
at camp or Lodge.
Day 6 - Full day game viewing. Starting by boat safari in the
morning followed by Game Drive in the afternoon.
Day 7 - Early morning game viewing (Walking Safari followed
by breakfast). After breakfast pick some picnic lunch and drive
to Dar es Salaam via Kitibi arriving late in the evening.
